Sweetness in starlight

1. OBVIOUSLY I didn't have the "freedom" in which I thought I was about to enjoy. Due to more ballet, finals and work, I haven't had time to update my blog until - you guessed it - now!
2. The good news, is that the moment to update a blog could not have come at a better time because...

I'm engaged!!!

That's right! Kimberly Dorland has just said yes to the glorious opportunity of becoming Kimberly Paiser. What fantastic news!

The proposal: After our own little Family Home Evening, Kyle decided to walk to a park for dessert. So I chose to walk to the park closest to his house, and away we went. Hand in hand, we talked and laughed our way to what would soon become yet another memorable park in our relationship. As we got to the picnic tables, Kyle pulled out a little black box, along with the cutsie line, "Now that we've had our first FHE together, I couldn't think of a better way to end it than to make it an official family."
Now. BECAUSE Kyle has been a bit of the little boy who cried wolf, and has had the pleasure of faking me out on more than one account, my response to him getting on his knee was, "Shut up," and "Whatever, stop doing that!" so on and so on...until I saw the ring. Then of course I don't remember exactly what happened or what I said, but Kyle's impression of me is pretty entertaining to watch.
The ring: Is fan-freaking-tastic. Oh my gosh I couldn't have imagined a more wonderful ring! The kid did good. :)
The response: I love my friends and family. Thanks to everyone who is so excited for us!
The boy: Perfect. I love love love this boy. And his blog of this glorious day makes my heart swell with joy almost as much as my eyes with tears.
The plans: Haven't started. I don't wanna! Luckily Kyle and I don't really care so much about big and fancy, so it's going to be as simple as I can make it.


So that's that! I am still in the state of bliss and can't stop looking at this ring that has suddenly appeared on my little left hand.
